For over 16 years of work, investigations and enthusiasm, Mr. Maltoni has collected a true bibliographic heritage regarding the industry of coffee.
Mr. Maltoni has accompanied his high quality restoration skills in the recovery of vintage and modern coffee machines with scrupulous historiographic, philological, and documental investigations, allowing him to collect and catalogue over 10,000 documents.
Photographic material, patents, letters, catalogue and old posters are today exhibited together with his collection of espresso coffee machines.
The bibliographic material includes works written in the early Nineteenth century and most recent texts from the mid Twentieth century up to present day. The books and documents come from all over the world, but mainly from Europe, where the Italian espresso coffee took root more strongly in the last century and contributed to the spreading of the Italian lifestyle and tradition in the world.
Of all these volumes many are donations offered to Mr. Maltoni and only a few have been purchased by the same collector.
All volumes are listed and catalogued here below and can be consulted upon appointment. |
