Scientific Committee - Luciano Allasia

Luciano Allasia was born on 10th December 1929 in Costigliole d’Asti, Piedmont, Italy.
He is the owner of an extraordinary collection of about 2,500 coffee grinders, coffee roasters and coffeepots/coffee makers, all of which are in perfect working order, collected over forty years of continuous, meticulous investigation in Italy and abroad, especially France.
As a constant visitor to antiques markets, he also loves to buy duplicate pieces simply for the pleasure of restoring them and placing them at the disposal of other collectors and coffee enthusiasts.

Over the years, he has extended his passion for these collectibles by liaising with important specialized magazines, taking part in events and appearing on TV programmes.
